Filterscape demo --:-- / --:--
A production by John ‘Skippy’ Lehmkuhl . Filterscape was used to create ambient delays and filter effects. FilterscapeVA was used for synth lines.
Filterscape demo 2 --:-- / --:--
A piece reminiscent of old analogue modular synths by Swiss artist Smoo. All sounds except the drums were programmed in FilterscapeVA. Filterscape and FilterscapeQ6 were used for additional processing.
Traces --:-- / --:--
The Wretch used only Filterscape, FilterscapeVA and a Machinedrum in this track.
FilterscapeVA
FilterscapeVA is the virtual analogue synthesizer included in the bundle. Sound generation starts with a very familiar topology: two oscillators + sub-oscillator + noise generator through a filter.
To move FilterscapeVA a little beyond the familiar, each voice has its own instance of Filterscape’s morphing EQ, making FilterscapeVA capable of amazingly vivid sounds. Almost everything can be morphed, modulated and manipulated by the LFOs, envelopes and arpeggiator.
- 2 spectral oscillators with 9 waveform options and waveform warping
- Polyphonic, duophonic or monophonic (retrigger or legato)
- Ring modulation, hard sync
- Sub-oscillator with 3 waveforms
- Noise generator
- 3 LFOs: 1 global, 2 per-voice
- 3 envelope generators with fall/rise and 4 behaviours
- Combined arpeggiator / sequencer
- Multimode filter: lowpass, bandpass, highpass
- EQ identical to Filterscape
- 2 effects: delay, chorus
- Over 790 presets

FilterscapeQ6
FilterscapeQ6 is a dynamic 6-band equalizer. It features the same morphing EQ as in Filterscape, but with additional low and high shelving filters—hence the name Q6.
The four envelope followers can react to different frequencies within the track and modulate just about anything. You can seamlessly automate the EQ settings using just one parameter: snapshot index. Q6 is an engineer’s dream come true in a simple but sophisticated interface.
- 6-band equalizer: 4 bands like Filterscape’s EQ plus high and low shelving filters
- 8 morphable snapshots for user-defined EQ settings
- 4 frequency-dependent envelope followers with adjustable signal threshold and filtering for the trigger
“…für alle Spielarten moderner elektronischer Musik eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung”
