Uhbik Ambience
- The best of both worlds: Early reflections plus classic plate reverb
- A choice of 4 very different reverb algorithms: small, direct, open, natural
- Separate bass and treble decay times, treble cutoff frequency control
Uhbik Delay
- 5 parallel taps with individual controls for delay time, pan, volume, feedback
- Tempo control with built-in modulation via simple LFO or tape flutter
- Highpass and lowpass filters with soft clip distortion

Uhbik Ambience
Good reverb is seldom conspicuous, but when it is not there you always notice that something is missing. Uhbik Ambience combines plate reverb and early reflections, with full control over each part. Sometimes you will want a subtle touch of ambience, at other times a trip to outer space…
Uhbik Ambience’s four operation modes are designed for different reverb styles. All four share common controls that determine the spaciousness and feel. Bass and Treble shape the reflections, mimicking the absorptive properties of natural environments. Add subtle space and texture, or blend sounds together into warm clouds.

Uhbik Delay
Drawing inspiration from classic tape echo units, Uhbik Delay’s five taps (virtual playback heads) deliver vintage-style delay infused with modern digital flexibility.
Like its analogue predecessors, Uhbik Delay features adjustable delay time (tape speed), and feedback. A pair of filters and the modulation options let you shape the sound from subtle motion to rich, evolving textures.
Freed from the limitations of physical tape, Uhbik Delay goes further: Adjust the position of each tap to create ultra-short delays, intricate rhythmic feedback patterns, or immersive surround-sound effects.

Shared features
Surround Processing
Uhbik can handle up to 8 channels surround, including e.g. quadraphony, 5.1 and 7.1. When applied to multichannel tracks, the channel offset parameter in the Flanger, Phaser, Grainshift and Tremolo spans all active channels—for dramatic effects that rotate around your head. Even the Delay’s panning controls are not simply stereophonic—they pan across all active channels.

Matrix
The 8-slot modulation matrix is used for adding motion by assigning modulation sources (MIDI, LFO, Envelope, Mapper) to any continuous controls on the panel. Modulation matrix assignments can be created very comfortably via drag & drop, then modified within the matrix slot in various ways.

Scope
Uhbik’s built-in oscilloscope is an essential visual aid for crafting rhythmic effects. You can view the audio output and/or up to four modulation signals at the same time—including the output of a modulation matrix slot—in any combination.

Mapper
The “Mapper” modulation source is a table that can hold up to 128 values between −100.00 and +100.00. How these values are interpreted depends on the selected Mode: MIDI notes, mapped modulation sources, triggered increments…

Envelope
Similar to the function generators seen in modern modular synthesizers, Uhbik’s envelope is a very flexible modulation source indeed. It can serve as an envelope follower, reacting to dynamics in the audio material, or can be triggered by audio signals or by any of the available modulation sources.

LFOs
A multi-waveform, general purpose low frequency oscillator you can use for any cyclic modulation, for Sample & Hold triggering, or as a source for the Mapper. The three cyclic effects (Flanger, Phaser and Tremolo) include another LFO hardwired to the main ‘character’ parameter of each effect.
