Simon

I am Simon (boldly going for 1st person narrative). I’m one of the web developers at u-he and I love it.

Like most people here at u-he, I’m a musician at heart. Impressed by the synthesizers in my uncle’s attic and the Beatles songs on my parents’ record player, I’ve been dreaming of making music for a living since my early childhood days. Over the years I’ve accumulated a skill set of utilising musical instruments sufficiently well. That, combined with a heart overflowing with lyrics and melodies allowed me to enter the stage here and there, alone or with friends.

However, there’s another love of my life: The beauty of systems where all the pieces just fit together. Driven by that passion I’ve accumulated a skill set of analysing and understanding problems. With a brain overflowing with ideas and solutions I enjoy building applications that help people do their work more efficiently (and have fun doing so). After several stops, I finally landed in u-he’s engine room, where Petros and I keep the platform and website running.

Now I’m here, in a place full of music and brilliant ideas, making sure the products I love to use can be found and used by you all.
