PANORA soundset for DIVA now available

PANORA takes its cues from a particular strain of ’70s and ’80s electronica: imagined journeys, unfamiliar landscapes, distant worlds… and the occasional brush with period library music. The soundset follows this arc quite deliberately: Its ’70s side is a little rougher around the edges — warmer, dustier, less perfectly tuned and more willing to drift. The ’80s side clears the haze, being cleaner, tighter and more polished, without losing the overall plot.

Echoes of synth-based vinyl with covers promising vast horizons, glowing skies, strange planets with impossible alien architectures. PANORA doesn’t attempt to recreate one artist or style, but to share a taste for atmospheres that feel as if they belong in a parallel universe…

Expect dusty, windswept vistas, gentle pads, quirky “found instruments”, alien percussion and strange melodies ranging from the unfamiliar to the quietly menacing — all somewhere between movie soundtrack, sci-fi-infused electronic concept album and the more eccentric side of functional music.
