After 10 years of speculation about an imminent Zebra3 release, things are starting to inch forward again. In 2012 we announced that the upgrade to Zebra3 would be free for existing owners of Zebra2 plus The Dark Zebra, otherwise $30 USD, and of course we will honour that promise. Please note that we switched our pricing to Euro a few years ago.
The plan is to bundle Zebra2 and The Dark Zebra together instead of selling them as individual products, one of which builds on the other. The switch to ZEBRA LEGACY will occur on a certain cutoff date (yet to be announced). Zebra Legacy will include all our Zebra2 soundsets and will become available at a very attractive price.
Your upgrade options:
- If you already own a Zebra2 license before the cutoff date, you can simply download and install Zebra Legacy, and you will have an upgrade path to Zebra3 when it arrives.
- If you also own The Dark Zebra, Zebra3 will be free of charge.
IMPORTANT: There will be no crossgrade option from Zebra Legacy to Zebra3. This means that people who buy Zebra Legacy after the cutoff date will not be eligible for a Zebra3 discount.
