Will single effects be available separately?

No, they won't. The price for the bundle is a great deal, there's hardly a chance to go any cheaper for just two or three effects. Also, what you're buying into is a concept, not just a bundle of independent algorithms. They simply belong together.

It crashes! (aka It Doesn't Work!!11!1!)

That's not a question ;-)

Here's the answer anyway: On Windows you'll probably need the Plugin Rename Trick (see "compatibility" section). On Mac you probably have multiple versions installed at once.

RTAS?

RTAS versions for Mac has been added in V1.1. There are reports that the FXpansion VST-RTAS wrapper works with Uhbik on Windows.

How can I get MIDI to work?

Sheesh. That's a problem inside your host application. Not all hosts can send MIDI to effects plug-ins. However, for some hosts, there are workarounds. In Logic, you can instantiate any Uhbik as an Instrument and route Audio from any track. In Live only the first plugin gets MIDI, so you may have to create a separate track for the Uhbik in question (similar to Logic).

To see if MIDI works, there's a small indicator with 5 little dots in the bottom right of Uhbik's display. It flickers when MIDI comes in. If it doesn't, please contact your host developer.

Are the crackles normal?

Yes. they are the demo limitation.

I can't put in the codes! How do I do it?

Your host probably intercepts certain (or all) keys. In Sonar for instance you can "enable keys for plugins". In others you can't. In such case it's recommended to simply use another host software for the registration. Just download a free one or a demo version and you're done!

What's up with Uhbik-X?

Uhbik-X will be available shortly in a free update. It's going to be a rack of Uhbiks with added modulations and routings.

What about Receptor/V-machines?

There'll be a pre-installed version (just like the one for Zebra2), but it isn't there yet.
